What is PTE test?<\/h1>\n

PTE, which stands for “Pearson Test of English”, is one of the best known international English tests for students or immigrants.<\/p>\n

PTE test is held regularly by Pearson Learning Company<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Just like IELTS<\/a>, PTE test can be taken in general and academic modules.<\/p>\n

PTE test’s main goal is to evaluate your four main English skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/section><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Who is PTE Academic for?<\/h2>\n

According to Pearson, PTE certificate is accepted by thousands of universities all over the world.<\/p>\n

Some of most famous academic institutes that accept PTE include YALE<\/a> and Harvard Business School<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Academic PTE is also useful to apply for citizenship in Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n

Where can I take a PTE test?<\/h2>\n

PTE tests are regularly held in Pearson testing centers around the world.<\/p>\n

Currently, Pearson company does not have a representative in Iran, Therefore you need to take the test somewhere else.<\/p>\n

Iranian PTE candidates usually take the test in Turkey, Azerbaijan or the UAE.<\/p>\n

What happens during a PTE test?<\/h2>\n

Just like IELTS, PTE Academic test includes speaking, listening, reading and writing sections.<\/p>\n

However, these sections do not exactly work like IELTS test parts.<\/p>\n

The main difference is that\u00a0skills in PTE are tested in a combined way<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Multiple Choice – Choose Single Answer:<\/strong> You will listen to recordings and choose the best response. Watch the video<\/a><\/p>\n
